• ScreenToGIF can capture entire screens or portions of them and render them as an animated GIF or a video file.
• GIMP can do it all — you just have to learn how it works, but it doesn’t take too long.
• Inkscape is a viable and, dare I say, excellent alternative to Illustrator.
• Notepad++ was something that I was aware of, but never really used.
• I swear by Microsoft’s Visual Studio Code for all my coding projects.
