News Summary

• "The Only Living Pickpocket in New York" is one of my favorite films of 2026.
• There's a beautiful, wistful tone to the movie, which proudly romanticizes New York City.
• It's a joy to watch and an extremely satisfying experience, thanks in large part to writer/director Noah Segan's excellent direction and tightly plotted script.
• Segan talks about what he learned from his longtime collaborator Rian Johnson, romanticizing outlaws, and capturing John Turturro's dance moves.
