News Summary

  • Salesforce is renaming its AIForce agent platform to SIForce.
  • CEO Marc Benioff is the second big tech boss to fall in line this week.
  • Last Sunday, Elon Musk said SpaceXAI would be renamed SpaceXSI.
  • Both moves follow Donald Trump’s push to replace the term artificial intelligence with super intelligence.
  • The change covers the agent platform only, not the company's name, as Business Insider reported.
  • The push also leaves firms with AI in their names, such as OpenAI and Scale AI, in an awkward spot.
Salesforce is renaming its AIForce agent platform to SIForce, chief executive Marc Benioff said on Friday, as Katherine Li reported for Business Insider. The era of Super Intelligence is here.
